When and how often can my baby receive hydrotherapy and infant massage?
Your baby can have weekly hydrotherapy and infant massage sessions. In line with IAIM policy, our practitioners will always ask permission before commencing massage on babies or children and follow their cues throughout the session. At home, regular daily massages can also provide benefits. It's important to read your baby's cues to know if they enjoy the massage or have had enough.
What type of oil do you use for infant massage?
What type of oil do you use for infant massage?
We use Sunflower oil, an unscented, cold-pressed vegetable oil, for our massages due to its exceptional qualities. This oil is rich in vitamin E, guaranteeing soft and well-hydrated baby skin. Its non-allergenic nature ensures safety for delicate skin, while its essential fatty acids support skin development and repair. Being lightweight, it is easily absorbed, providing effective moisturisation without any greasy residue.
